I’m a taxi driver from Dallas. Choosing to have Lasik eye surgery was one of the best decisions I made for my job and my life. I can’t tell you how important it was for me to have the procedure with a doctor I could trust. I had considered laser vision correction for years, but was very nervous. Dr. William Boothe at the Eye Care and Laser Center in Plano was definitely the guy to see. I heard his ads in the radio for years and finally decided to do it after listening to a show where the host described how he did his eyes with Dr. Boothe. The staff was excellent at putting me at ease. The surgery was quick and painless, follow up care was thorough and I think I went back 4 or 5 times, just to make sure everything is fine. I’m happy with the results.

I was looking for a proper eye laser center for about a month. I was afraid of possible laser surgery outcomes (due to some reviews, articles and comments I read online) and it was quite difficult to make a right decision.

Finally, I choose Boothe Laser Center, mainly because Dr. William Boothe is the most experienced surgeon in the area. The most important thing to me was to pick a surgeon that knows what he is doing and finding a high quality clinic that handles large number of cases each day so that staff members are extremely professional. From what I read, and later experienced, this reduces the rate of complications to a minimum. The staff was lovely and Gina especially was very helpful. I was very nervous before my IntraLasik surgery began, but looking back (it has been 3 months) I don’t think there was a reason for it. Now I feel like a new person – my vision is even better than I hoped.

I have recommended Dr. Boothe to colleagues, family members and friends.

I underwent my laser eye surgery at the Boothe Laser Center a week ago. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, they thoroughly checked me in all stages of the procedure. The procedure itself was quick (I think that the laser is used on each eye for 1-2 minutes) and not painful, which is great! I did feel a bit uncomfortable with my eye wide open and seeing that beam, but then that was expected and Dr. Boothe works so fast that it was done before I had time to think about it. I could tell the difference almost immediately. The next day I could drive my car without contact lenses and had no problems at all! This Lasik procedure is well worth it if you don’t want to wear glasses or contacts for the rest of your life. I have nothing but praise for the staff and service at the Boothe Laser Center.

I wanted to express my greatest gratitude for Dr. Boothe. I was very skeptical at doing any type of laser surgery because of all of the risks. Dr. Boothe sat me down and went through the entire process for me. He told me all of the benefits and potential risks. When it was time for my procedure, I went to boothe laser center in plano and began my surgery. The process took about 5-10 minutes and I was out of there. Dr. William Boothe made sure that I put eye drops in my eye after my surgery in order to feel less discomfort. I followed his instructions and now here I am weeks later contact free and glasses free. Thanks Dr. Boothe, you’ve changed my life.

This review details my experience with the Boothe Eye Care and Laser Center in Texas. I had my Lasik surgery done in September 2010 and I cannot find the words to express how grateful I am for everything Dr. William Boothe have done for me. He is a very responsible person, he made sure that I feel fine before, during and after the Lasik procedure. It has been about 6 weeks since I had it done. I cannot believe how simple was the whole process – the actual “surgery” takes a couple of minutes on each eye. His staff is skilled and fast, and they try to minimize the time you need to be in the surgical room. My vision is now 20/20, but I feel it is still improving every day. The price was attractive, especially when I take into consideration the level of service and the vast experience of Dr. Boothe and his staff.
